We traveled with our dog, Bonnie, from Istanbul to San Francisco with Turkish Airlines in early January. Once we arrived to the check in desks, were informed that pet check-in had to be done at a specific counter designated for pets. Although this caught us by surprise, it turned out to be a positive change.
