Traveling with my 17lbs dog who is about 14.5 in at the whithers was very easy with United. She had JUST enough room to turn around. I purchased the ticket online. Check in and security was easy. I had to carry her through the metal detector. I boarded with my assigned group. This was her first flight and my first with a dog.
