Upon check in the staff was thorough with checking the vaccines and the size of the bag. I used the same airline before without any problems but this time was a bit more of a hassle. I eventually got a red slip saying "standby hand luggage" and when I got to the gate they rebooked my seat so I could have a row for myself and sit with the pet carrier on the seat next to me.
