Maximum total weight of 8 kg / 17 lbs includes pet plus carrier. Maximum carrier size is 45 x 30 x 23 cm (length x width x height). TAP reserves the right to transfer a pet to the hold if mandatory conditions are not met. TAP Miles&Go members can earn up to 500 miles when flying with a pet, or use miles to pay for pet transport.

Service dogs travel free of charge. Must be transported without a carrier, at the owner's feet, always on a leash, cannot occupy a passenger seat, and cannot move around the cabin. In exceptional cases (e.g., due to size), the dog may be required to travel in the hold in a suitable container, also free of charge. Booking must be requested at least 48 hours before the flight. Not permitted in emergency exit seats. Emotional support animals are not accepted. Connections with GOL and Azul are not accepted. Flights to/from the USA and UK have specific form requirements.
